Marketing & Advertising

 

I managed all of the advertising efforts on behalf of the Penn State Harrisburg. Campaign examples included Graduate and Undergraduate Open House events; promotion of Maymester and summer courses; social media advertising efforts to promote graduate programs; and other sponsorship opportunities.

Currently, I assist with print and online advertising efforts that support Phoenix Contact's internal and external campaigns related to products in its data connectivity portfolio.

Event Planning

 

Mental Health Series

I was instrumental in developing a Mental Health series for the Penn State Harrisburg community. Guests learned about Sean Astin's experiences growing up with a famous mother, Patty Duke, who battled Bi-Polar disorder. He discussed mental health awareness, his activism on campus, and more. I also aided in developing an interactive mental health simulation for our campus community.

Women in STEAM Symposium

I conceptualized and developed a Women in STEAM Symposium to encourage female students and students of color to enter into STEAM-related career fields; showcase how integration of multiple STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) and passions can develop into a career path; and will provide an opportunity for employers to network with students in STEAM-related majors.

Penn State Harrisburg Special Events

Assisted with and plan for Penn State Harrisburg's special events that include commencement, award ceremonies, convocation and graduation fairs each semester.
